Verified carbon footprint data

We know that transparency and traceability are critical for your ESG reporting. That’s why we have calculated the total carbon footprint of our desiccants, Absorpole® and AbsorGel®, from cradle to gate — including sourcing, transport, and production.

The data is verified by IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute Ltd. and is available in product-specific Technical Sheets. A full extended report can also be provided on request.

Optimized desiccant design and packaging

Our desiccants and packaging are engineered to use fewer resources. We prioritize recycled or partly recycled plastics, and ensure our solutions are recyclable or reusable wherever possible, in line with the ambitions of the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). Through our Return-to-Reuse program, selected components can be collected and reintroduced into new products — lowering resource consumption across the value chain.

Our carbon footprint reduction process

We systematically work to lower the carbon footprint of our container desiccants through four steps:

  1. Re-engineering products to decrease the amount of material to lower the usage of resources
  2. Prioritizing materials with lower CO₂ impact, including recycled options.
  3. Ensuring operations have a low CO2 footprint
  4. Measuring the CO2 footprint of products from cradle to gate across scope 1, 2 and upstream scope 3

This process ensures that every stage — from material choice to operations — contributes to lowering the overall footprint of our solutions.
