Absortech contributes to the SDGs

Absortech has renewed its commitment to the United Nations’ Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative that aims to create a global movement of companies to achieve sustainability goals. 

The initiative, that this year celebrates its 20th anniversary, gathers more than  11 593 companies in 156 countries. Absortech Group is part of the Swedish Local Network, together with other 21 companies. 

“Supporting the UNGC principles and initiative means that we are an active part of creating a better world for all: the planet, the communities, and the people. The universal sustainability principles are now the foundation of our policies  and they have become our framework to guide our business strategy, operations, and relationships with the different stakeholders.”, said Absortech’ CEO Rikard Kanmert 

With this renewal for the period 2020-2021, Absortech demonstrates the company’s commitment in upholding the 10 United Nations Global Compact principles and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
